today i worked on some new stuff and then i took a nice trip with laura to baltic bazaar, a thrift store that sells fabric for $5 a pound.
on the way home i spotted an unbelievably cute toy store called acorn on atlantic avenue. i can't wait to go back and visit!
oh and lena tagged me and i think i am finally going to do it and share 5 little facts about myself. here we go:
-i really like to learn languages--i took four years of italian in high school, three semesters of spanish and one semester of french in college. unfortunately i still can't speak well in any of them...
-i've always wanted to learn martial arts. i took a kung fu class in college (briefly) and an aikido class in high school (also briefly). i am extremely uncoordinated and had to stop out of embarassment.
-i have a little voice. when telemarketers call they ask if my mom and dad are home (i'm 22).
-i have some serious global warming anxiety and it effects nearly every decision i make! i always bring my own bags when i go shopping, and my own produce bags to the farmer's market. i almost never get take-out because i hate non-recyclable containers. i walk around my apartment turning unnecessary lights off and unplugging electronics all day long!
-i want to have a little farm in new england one day. i worked on a farm through high school and part of college and did things like weed strawberry plants and prune christmas trees. i always thought it was fun.
