two new-ish books i like

i started out this morning with a little bunny making.  this one is for a friend's b-day :)

i had fun walking around renegade yesterday.  i got a great bag from forest bound and got to see my friends' laura, natalie, and alison's booths.  there was a lot of great stuff this year.  i was a little bit sad to be a shopper and not a vendor this year.  but...do you guys remember last year?  after two renegades and one cold,cold day at the brooklyn flea i have sworn off the outdoor markets for the time being!

  

also, i made a top with a similar pattern as the last dress i made.  the only difference is that i did a kind of pleat at the collar rather than gathering.  sorry, i take the laziest photos.

my littlest stuffed animal yet.  i am still working on the pattern.  a tiny version of this bunny...

i made a patchwork bag for myself today.  i would like to make some similar ones to sell (possibly at lena's next sale?).  i think the limited color palette keeps it from looking too hippie-like.  my mom's friend bought these buttons at a swap meet.  they seem to be made out of deer antler, which i am feeling a little grossed out by.  i may need to replace them.

new ideas:  i want to get in on the wedding cake topper game.  i love wedding-related things, and i have something really cute in mind.  this great book will be involved.  also--tiny bunnies.

i made a dress from the fabric i bought on friday.  i used a pattern i made from a top i bought last year.  i lengthened it into a dress, and made it so the back of the shirt was the front and back of the dress (the original top had a v-neck in the front).

i also finished another dog...

i got some new fabrics at the thrift store today, to make summer dresses.

i finished the italian greyhound, trixie...

and the fish mobile.

next i'll be finishing up a jack russell mix, then making some summer dresses for myself.
